The Parable of the Prodigal Son is a picture of human beings as a whole about the shortcomings, weaknesses and loss. This parable presents a live drama framed in repentance and acceptance as a form of a real forgiveness. The father as the main character of this parable becomes not only the center of the dispute, but also the solution of peace. The prodigal son and the elder son were equally lost and also equally accepted by the generosity of their father.
Similarly, the church should also be a place where everyone is accepted in all conditions and circumstances. Repentance, reconciliation and acceptance should be part of a church. The Protestanst Church of Nias (BNKP) as a church must be able to prove that it is a convenient place for all people from all levels and circles of life. Without ignoring the falls and violations, the church must treat each person in the church as a free man.
Exegetical study of the text of Luke 15: 11-32 reveals that the absolute change begins with repentance and repentance which is greeted by reception and acceptance produces life recovery. This thesis aims to help BNKP as a church in the discipline of the church. Discipline is a deterrent but love and acceptance make people closer.
